April 23, 2026 - Affix Labs Group B.V., a Dutch green chemtech startup, has secured €1 million in funding from VP Capital and Oost NL to support the European rollout of its sustainable insect repellent technology.
As insect resistance increases and European regulations around chemical pesticides tighten, the demand for effective and safer alternatives continues to grow.
Affix Labs has developed a patented method to dissolve oily active ingredients into water-based systems, combined with controlled-release technology. This enables long-lasting protection without the use of harmful chemicals. Its flagship product, Repeltec, is dermatologically tested, neurotoxic-free, and suitable for use on both surfaces and textiles.
With this funding, Affix Labs is scaling its commercial operations and expanding across European markets.
