This investment will enable Fiber Foods to scale up its production of PrimeJack®— a dried jackfruit fiber that blends seamlessly with meat—offering a significant reduction in environmental impact while preserving taste and texture.
As the world moves towards more sustainable food production, hybrid meat solutions have the potential to play a key role in reducing meat consumption and its associated carbon footprint without requiring consumers to make drastic dietary changes. By integrating PrimeJack® into traditional meat products, Fiber Foods provides an innovative and accessible way to lower CO2 emissions, support biodiversity, and drive sustainable agriculture. Additionally, Fiber Foods ensures that smallholder farmers in East Africa gain access to a new market, and with it, additional income.

Fiber Foods is already making significant strides in the market. The company recently secured orders from major meat producers to develop hybrid sausages, burgers, and croquettes, which will be available in Dutch supermarkets and other retailers in the first half of 2025. With this funding round, Fiber Foods is set to expand its operations, strengthen its supply chain, and drive the mainstream adoption of hybrid meat products.
