Bart van Eyk will be leaving VP Capital

February 2, 2025 - We would like to let you know that Bart van Eyk will be leaving VP Capital this month. Since joining, Bart has made a crucial contribution to the further professionalisation of our fast-growing organisation. Through the implementation of the impact-first strategy, the development of necessary structures, promoting team development, and taking the first strategic steps in the establishment of VP Ventures, Bart has laid a solid foundation for the next growth phase of VP Capital.

Over the past year, the VP Capital team have also worked hard to discover our shared DNA. This has resulted in a set of values that now form the foundation for our actions, both as individuals and as an organisation. We learned that we want to work with short, effective lines of communication to strengthen our autonomy and decisiveness. This process also led to the evolution of the executive team, transitioning from a model with Bart as managing director to a collegial board based on equality, ensuring that everyone's responsibilities are maximally fulfilled.

We would like to acknowledge Bart's dedication and commitment over the past few years and wish him continued success in his future endeavours.

Quote from Bart:

"It has been a privilege to be part of this team and to contribute to the mission of VP Capital. The impact-first strategy is much needed in the world, and I’m confident it will make a tangible difference. For me, it’s now time for new challenges."
