Welcoming Zymofix into our venture portfolio

November 12,2024 - Thrilling times! We’re excited to welcome Zymofix into our venture portfolio as we participate in their €2 million seed funding round, led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) with The Nest Family Office as co-investor.

Zymofix, formerly known as N-Fix, is a Belgian biotech company pioneering the use of biomass residues—such as agricultural waste—to produce high-quality micro-organisms that can enhance plant health, reduce environmental impact, and replace harmful chemicals in various industries.

“Our mission is to scale the production of beneficial micro-organisms, transforming waste into valuable resources that foster ecosystem regeneration,” said Emile Redant, CEO of Zymofix. “This investment will enable us to bring our high-quality, scalable biosolutions to market faster and enable their widespread adoption, driving positive impact on planetary health.”

As we welcome Zymofix to our portfolio, we are more committed than ever to supporting ventures that are addressing some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. By investing in innovative circular solutions, we believe we can drive meaningful, long-lasting change for a better and more sustainable future for the generations to come.

Mathijs van der Knaap, Investment Manager at VP Capital, added, “Zymofix’s innovative approach to transforming biomass residues into valuable microbial products aligns perfectly with our aim to foster these much-needed ecological solutions. This investment is a critical step towards creating tangible, scalable impact—not just for the agricultural sector, but for the planet as a whole.”
